Heard of the new Adsense’s Privacy Policy?
Posted on March 24, 2008, under Advertisement.
Hi peeps,
As many of you Adsense Publishers out there might already know by now, Google changed their Terms and Conditions on February 26th. What most of you didn’t know (including me) is about this new requirement: all Adsense publishers should have a “Privacy Policy” section on their sites. Right out from Adsense’s T&C:
“You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your user’s browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.”
Honestly, I didn’t read the new Adsense’s T&C. That’s why I’m sharing this with you today. You can build your Privacy Policy online using this excellent tool and it will look just like the one on my blog
Hurry and add the Privacy Policy thing to your site! Don’t lose your Adsense account because of being too lazy to read ![]()
Google, we want another payment method in Venezuela!
Hi peeps,
Today I found out that as me many bloggers from my country are having difficulties to retrieve Adsense renevues due to some foolish restrictions stablished by Cadivi (a goverment’s agency) and venezuelan goverment’s bad economy strategies. It’s hard to explain so I’ll make it simple and short: they won’t let venezuelan people use more than $400 per year for electronic purchases. (more…)
