Wordpress 2.6.1 is released!
Posted on August 15, 2008, under Internet, Technology by Ikki.
Hi peeps,
Today, a new version of our beloved blogging system has been released! According to Ryan Boren (lead developer of Wordpress), this release includes a number of improvements for international users, a fix for several permalink issues on blogs hosted under IIS (Windows’ Internet Information Services), and some other enhancements. Apparently, there’s no need to upgrade to 2.6.1 if you’re not facing any problems with WP 2.6.

Yeah… another update.
Haven’t found any problems yet with my current version though.

@maduga: Well, neither did I. They do mention that WP 2.6 is working just fine so there’s no need to upgrade your blog unless you’re experiencing any of the issues mentioned on my blog post.
I did, however, upgrade my blog to 2.6.1. … just in case ![]()
